First, I need to say that i had wanted to read this book for months but i just never seemed to find the time. So when i was finally able to read it, i had high expectations.
This was my first book by D.B. Canavan and i am so glad to have found this author.

The book started slow, like really slow. I was a little bit anxious about the beginning because i was wondering where this was taking me. BUT it was needed. By Starting slow, you can really get into the characters, and get to know them and their story. Once you get the 'side' story of each that's when the real deal starts you just get to jump in and enjoy without wondering about anything.
 

This is a book about love, lust, lost, and crimes. A great story to read  over-and-over again. Book 2 is coming out soon and i can't wait to find out what happens to Haylee, Johnathan, and Antonio!

You need to read this book if you like a good and well written Mafia Romance filled with intriging moments, Love and maybe..Sex, Crimes ,and Mystery, Definitely!!
